FAO - Aquatic Species Introduction Database
This website houses an extensive database on aquatic invasive species introductions with built in mapping resources. There is also background information on invasive species and their impact on fisheries and aquaculture, as well as a responsible code of practice.


 

Global Ballast Water Management Program
GloBallast helps developing countries manage the transfer of aquatic invasive species in ships` ballast water. Learn about the ballast water problem and the international response through laws, programs, management plans, and treatment technologies. Access the GloBallast newsletter, awareness materials, directories and databases, and link to related websites.


 

Global Invasive Species Programme (GISP)
GISP is dedicated to minimizing the spread and impact of invasive species. GISP has excellent information on the problem, ecology, and management of invasive species. National Invasive Species Information Center (NISIC)

National Sea Grant Nonindigenous Species Site
SGNIS is a U.S based information center that contains a comprehensive collection of research publications and educational materials on zebra mussels and other aquatic invasive species.


 

NISBase
NISBase is a global database on invasive species. Through this site users can access taxonomic and life history information, native and introduced ranges, photos, maps, and information on the impacts of aquatic invasive species.
