Ocean Life A to Z Ocean Life From A to Z
by Cynthia Stierle and Annie Crawley

Ocean Life From A to Z Book and DVD is an inspirational and educational package for kids and their families. Readers and viewers can see up close the wonderful critters that live in our world's ocean. This new book and DVD combo from Reader's Digest Children's Publishing includes a 32-page long full color storybook and a 47 minute underwater DVD that is bilingual, in English and Spanish.

The book Ocean Life features an extensive collection of amazing underwater images and provides fun and informative facts about ocean dwellers to go along with each letter of the alphabet. The DVD shows up-close and personal underwater footage and pictures along with marine life information suitable for kids of all ages.

The DVD features three sections to keep kids interested and learning. Created and narrated by dive instructor and boat captain Annie Crawley, the first section is called “Meet Annie” and follows her as she puts on her gear, pilots her boat, and gets ready to dive. “A to Z” is filled with fun facts and neat video clips about ocean life from A to Z, and “You and the Ocean” shows Annie getting into the water and swimming with children.

The spectacular underwater footage of marine life is taken from Annie's diving expeditions in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Belize, the Galapagos Islands, and California. These underwater scenes will make kids want to watch this DVD again and again, and the best part is that they'll be learning something new every time they do.

Ocean Life From A to Z is the first Book & DVD from Reader's Digest Children's Publishing with a non-fiction focus, and mixes education with entertainment in an innovative way for youngsters.
